Working meeting of the participants of the european union ERASMUS+

A working meeting of participants of the European Union Erasmus+ program on the theme “Modernization of higher education in Central Asia through new technologies”was held in Almaty technological University from 01 to 05 July 2019.

The working meeting was attended by representatives of the ministries of education of Central Asia, the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of higher education institutions of Italy, Portugal, Bulgaria, Luxembourg, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

The purpose of the joint meeting is to exchange best practices and knowledge in the field of innovative educational technologies. Thanks to the implementation of Erasmus+ educational programs, the level of world education is constantly increasing, and educational institutions receive deserved recognition.

This project is implemented in four European universities-Bulgaria, Italy, Portugal, Luxembourg and 15 universities in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.

From Kazakhstan, the Ministry of education and science of Kazakhstan, Almaty technological University, L. N. Gumilev Eurasian national University and Innovative Eurasian University (Pavlodar) participate in the project.

The new Erasmus+ project aims to create a sustainable academic network to improve methodology, share best practices in the field of innovative educational technologies.

As a result of the project, it is planned to create fifteen centers of innovative educational technologies and fifteen training laboratories in each institution of the partner University, as well as the expansion of educational resources based on cloud computing.

In order to introduce innovative educational technologies in partner universities, courses will be organized for teachers to acquire digital skills and teaching methods.

Participants of the working meeting on 05 July 2019 on the project ” Modernization of higher education in Central Asia through new technologies (HiEdTec)” http://hiedtec.ecs.uni-ruse.bg we considered organizational issues, management and coordination of the project. The main directions of further work on the project were defined.

Each partner country provided information on the work done to create centers of innovative educational technologies. Angel Smrikanov made a presentation Of the center for innovative educational technologies of the University of Rusen.
